1st Roar [Action/Video]
[The last thing Simba had known, he was in the desert, newly exiled from the Pridelands. He had wandered for what felt like forever before passing out from sheer exhaustion and dehydration. Now, he was slumped on the rooftop of Luceti's schoolhouse, snoozing away with his journal acting as a pillow. Eventually the cub began to stir, and as he did so, leaned to far to the side.
He was suddenly wide awake as the little lion began to tumble and roll down the side of the roof. Desperately trying to stop himself, Simba's claws scratched and scrabbled for purchase, taking some shingles with him as he went. The inevitable occured and he went sailing off the edge, with his claws finally hooking in, causing Simba to dangle several feet above the ground. His journal had fallen as well, hitting the ground in such a way that it came open and triggered the video feed.
Those watching the journals will have a ground view of the cub as he dangles from the school's roof.
Eyes wide in terror, Simba tries to get himself back up before he falls, but to no avail. Quickly his mind goes back to a recent incident where he clung to the spindly remains of a tree while wildebeest thundered past him. Tears spring to his eyes, for he knows his dad won't be there to rescue him this time. So he does the only thing he can think to do, and screams.]

HEEEEEEEELP!
[Action]
Sorry.
[But then notices them start to heal themselves. He blinks and stares.]
[Action]
[Tsuzuki quite honestly doesn't understand what he's looking at, until he follows his line of vision. But he still doesn't see what Simba sees.]
...And I can probably get a new shirt, too.
[Action]
How are you doing that?
[Action]
That's uh-- It's perfectly normal, I promise! My body just reacts really fast to everything.
[Action]
Can you put me down?
[Action]
[And he's put down on the ground just like that. Belatedly, Tsuzuki dries the blood of his shoulder so that it won't look so obvious.]
Do you have a name, little guy?
[Action]
[...]
Who are you? What are you? Where am I?
[So many questions.]
[Action]
You're new, huh? I'm Tsuzuki. You've landed in Luceti. It's a town it's almost impossible to leave.
Where did you come from?
[Action]
Nowhere important.
[Action]
[Poor little guy. Perhaps it's not the right thing to do, but he can't watch the little cub look depressed and not reach out to stroke his head.]
There's a lot of people here that come from nowhere important. We stick together.
[Action]
Really?
[Action]
Of course. Being on your own is the worst feeling in the world. And we're all on our own here, one way or another.
[Action]
It's better that way anyway. I can't go back, even if I wanted to.
[Action]
Don't say that! We might find some way to get you home eventually.
....Why do you think it's better to stay here?
[Action]
I-I just can't! I... did something terrible.
[Action]
Hey.
[He makes comforting shushing sounds, concerned about how close Simba came to hyperventilating.]
Whatever happened, I'm sure it's not your fault.
[Action]
It -is- my fault! It's all my fault!
[With a choked sob, Simba turns and runs away.]
[Action]
[Although adult lions easily can outrun a man, Tsuzuki currently have the longest legs of the two. He runs after the cub, too worried to consider that he might want privacy.]
[Action]
[Action]
[He's a little out of breath himself, when he finally sits down next to the miserable cub. Simba might not know it, but he's very close to getting a hug.]
You have to be careful. There's a giant wolf in these woods.
[Action]
Who cares, I probably should have gotten eaten anyway.
[Action]
Come on, kid. I know where you can get something to eat and a place to sleep.
[Action]
You do?
[Action]
[All teenagers hate the hair ruffle. That's why it's so effective.]
But it's in the human village. Are you brave enough to go in there?
[Action]
[He's insulted you would ask! Plus he doesn't really know anything about humans anyway.]
