[After agreeing to meet with Kirk at one of the apartment buildings, (those were one of the big ones right?) Simba ambles and bounds around town, looking for the guy he talked to. Eventually he spots him and comes running over.]

Hey, there you are! C'mon let's go!

Order: Simba, Kirk, Spock?

It's one thing to see him over the journal, but another to see a bounding, bouncing baby lion that has actual words coming out of his mouth. He know what Spock would say - it's not logical because a lion's mouth and vocal cords do not aid in creating the necessary sounds for speech. Oh god, why did he just think that?]}

Yeah, sure. Uh, Simba, by the way, this is my crewman, Spock. He's coming too. Spock, this is Simba.

[He then notices something rather peculiar.]

Nice ears. I haven't seen any of the other humans with ears like those.

[To Simba... all the bipedal, clothes wearing, mostly hairless monkeys, are humans.]

It is imperative in most civilized societies for humanoids to wear clothing. It serves the purpose of keeping us warm... among other things.
